**Advanced CNC Machinist** Manufacturing Anoka County, MN, US Pay Rate Low: 30 | Pay Rate High: 40 + Added - 21/10/2025 Apply for Job Our client is an esteemed manufacturer in the Medical Device field seeking an experienced and highly skilled **Advanced CNC Machinist** to join their **2nd Shift Milling Department!** Located in Anoka County, MN **Direct Hire** **2nd Shift M-Th 330pm-130am** **Pay:** $30 - 40/hour **Key Responsibilities:** + Set up and operate multi-axis CNC milling machines (Kitamura, Mazak, Haas, Robodrill) + Read and interpret blueprints with advanced knowledge of GD&T + Utilize MasterCAM software to assist in setup and make necessary program edits + Perform machine offsets and adjustments to maintain part quality and tolerances + Inspect parts using precision measurement tools to verify conformance to specifications + Troubleshoot machining issues and make proactive adjustments to minimize downtime + Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols + Collaborate with engineers and programmers to optimize processes + Perform preventive maintenance on machines as needed + Accurately document setups, tool changes, and inspection results **Qualifications:** + Associate's Degree preferred; High School Diploma required + 5+ years of CNC machining experience with a strong background in milling operations + Proven ability to independently set up CNC milling machines + Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding GD&T principles + Familiarity with MasterCAM and general G-code programming/editing + Skilled with inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges **Preferred Experience (a plus):** + Exposure to other departments such as Lathe/Mill Turn (Mazak Integrex i-150, GibbsCAM) + Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement "This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
