RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely operate clamp trucks to transport paper rolls, pallets, and finished goods between production areas, storage, and shipping docks.
• Must perform daily pre-start inspections of clamp trucks (checking hydraulic clamps, brakes, lights, and tires) and report any issues immediately.
• Must load and unload trailers, ensuring loads are secure, balanced, and protected from damage during transit.
• Must stage materials and products according to production schedules and customer orders, using proper placement techniques to optimize space and flow.
• Must use RF scanners or logs to track material movements and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Must follow all safety protocols, including use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE), safe lifting practices, and lockout/tagout procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience operating clamp trucks or forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Must have valid forklift certification/license and a proven record of safe operation.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, climb stairs, and remain active on a warehouse floor for an entire shift.
