Job Description

Location & Work Arrangement

  • City, State: Orlando, Tampa, Doral, Ft. Lauderdale, or Tallahassee, Florida (One location will be selected per candidate)
  • Work Arrangement: Onsite (Mandatory)
  • Contract: This is a short-term Contract assignment (Approximately 45 days).
  • Mode of Interview: Webcam/In Person .
  • Note: Candidates must be local to one of the listed cities and commit to the project timeline.

Key Responsibilities and Case Management

The Compliance Officer is responsible for the full lifecycle of complaint resolution, from initial contact to final case closure.

Complaint Analysis & Interpretation (1 Year Required)

  • Statutory Review: Read state statutes and compare them with filed complaints to accurately analyze the issue and determine the Division's jurisdiction.
  • Jurisdiction Advice: Advise constituents/complainants of the Division's jurisdiction and communicate clearly when a case must be closed and the reason for the closure.
  • Resolution Documentation: Send written correspondence to the complainant once approved by the supervisor.

Constituent Communication & Service (3 Years Required)

  • Public Contact: Contact constituents/complainants to discuss the details of the filed complaints.
  • Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills are a MUST when communicating with the public.
  • Referrals: Provide any necessary resources or appropriate referrals for issues falling outside the Division's purview.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor and excellent oral communication when dealing with the public (3+ years experience).

System Documentation & Closure

  • Case Closure: Close the case out by adding the appropriate codes, activities, and statutes in the Versa system (Highly desired).
  • Document Management: Document all actions taken in the OnBase system (Highly desired).

Experience working with the public in a professional work environment.

Complaint Analysis

Experience working with the public and analyzing complaints .

Legal Interpretation

Ability to read and interpret Florida state statutes .

Communication

Required

Excellent written and oral communication with the public; ability to communicate verbally and in writing appropriately.

Soft Skills

Required

Exceptional organizational skills , commitment to the project timeline.

System Familiarity

Highly Desired

Experience using Versa (Case Management) and OnBase (Document Management).
