Fitness Center Attendants are responsible for supervising and maintaining the fitness center.
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Ø Meet and greet members as they enter the fitness center
Ø Answer guest questions regarding fitness equipment
Ø Ensure the fitness center remains clean and organized for members
Ø Monitor all activities within the fitness center
Ø Enforce fitness centers policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all members and guests
Ø Assess fitness equipment for safety and functionality
Key knowledge, skills abilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Ø Possesses a commitment and eagerness to provide excellent customer service
Ø High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or previous related experience and/or training
Ø Knowledge of or willingness to learn about fitness equipment and its proper use
Ø Exceptional member and customer service skills with the ability to develop and uphold relationships with members
Ø Commitment to regular and reliable attendance
Ø Organized, able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure
Ø Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and uphold a positive and enthusiastic attitude
