Jetro Restaurant Depot FSQA Testing Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized and proactive FSQA Junior Specialist to join the Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) Department. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, gain hands-on experience in FSQA wholesale processes, and contribute to the success of an expanding organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Actively contribute to fostering a culture that prioritizes food safety and quality assurance.
2. Respond to and support incoming supplier and/or customer requests.
3. Track laboratory expenses and manage related reporting.
4. Coordinate and monitor the procurement of products for laboratory testing.
5. Assist with accurate data entry for inspections, testing results, and quality assurance records.
6. Conduct and continuously improve internal product evaluations.
7. Collaborate with the document compliance team to ensure vendor and product documentation alignment.

Expectations

1. Demonstrate enthusiasm for providing effective, day-to-day collaboration and support.
2. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while helping improve vendor accountability, and testing processes.
3. Proactively provide assistance to achieve FSQA departmental goals.

Experience

1. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint).
2. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
3. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
5. Previous experience in a regulated industry (food, medical, pharmaceutical, etc.) preferred.
