Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $17.34 - $21.67 / hour
The position will focus on all Hospital and Outpatient Hospital Department Authorization Denials. The position will require research skills to file the authorization appeal and you will perform the follow-up on that appeal for payment resolution from the insurance companies. The candidate must promote positive customer relations, have the ability to multitask and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Responsibilities also include review of appeal correspondence and reconciliation of assigned accounts receivable, to secure maximum reimbursement and to resolve denied claims in a timely manner. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment when necessary is essential along with a supportive team attitude and a friendly personality.
