This position is located in the Laundry Department of the Veterans Home of California- West Los Angeles .

Working Conditions

Employees of CalVet will be required to follow state or county public health guidelines and requirements enacted in accordance with infectious disease prevention and control.

Special Requirements

Successful completion of a live scan and a pre-employment physical (including drug testing for certain civil service classifications) will be required.

Desirable Qualifications

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

Understanding of and willingness to work with the resident population of a Veterans Home.

Sufficient strength and agility to load, unload and operate industrial capacity laundry machines.
