SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
The Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) – (Assessments Only; 3 Schools) will start in January and focus exclusively on assessments for AU and ED. The district’s SPED counselors handle counseling and behavior specialists complete FBAs and BIPs, so the LSSP is not responsible for those tasks. This is an in-person role with the option for 1–2 remote days.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid Texas Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential
• Compliance with Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP) requirements
• Understanding of child and adolescent development, learning processes, and mental health needs
• Two years of experience in a school setting preferred
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
