BULL MOOSE TUBE COMPANY, a progressive organization dedicated to meeting our customers perception of quality, has a career opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic with a strong electrical and general mechanical background at our Sinton, Texas manufacturing site. Prior production experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is desired. General electrical background is a plus. Excellent benefits and compensation are available.

DUTIES

The successful candidate must be able to: handle multiple tasks, communicate effectively, make sound fact-based decisions, and work well in a team-based environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

This multitask position is a great opportunity for a highly motivated candidate with the following background:

* Must be skilled as an industrial mechanic;

* Should be familiar with PLC's, motor controls, sensors, limit switches and electro/mechanical systems, and 3-phase 480vt equipment;

* Should have strong mechanical aptitude and trouble-shooting abilities, and welding experience is considered a plus.

* Apply electrical theory to test and troubleshoot machinery and heavy equipment (i.e. DC Drives, ladder logic, PLC programming, and SCR Controls),

* Diagnose and correct electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions,

* Plan, direct, and record maintenance standards; recommend or initiate modification or replacement of faulty equipment.

Academic credentials or equivalent experience at the technical degree level (2 years) are preferred.
