This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Network Automation Engineer I in Georgia (USA).

This is an entry-level role ideal for early-career professionals or recent graduates who want to launch a career in network automation. You will work closely with experienced architects to design and implement automation solutions for enterprise networks. The role involves developing scripts, automating workflows, integrating cloud and enterprise systems, and gaining hands-on experience with modern tools like Python, Ansible, and Terraform. You will also have opportunities to engage with clients directly, understand business needs, and deliver solutions that drive measurable results. Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain network automation solutions under the guidance of senior engineers and architects.
• Create scripts and automation workflows using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and related tools.
• Integrate automation solutions with enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, AWS, Infoblox, and NetBox.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in customer-facing activities, including demos, troubleshooting, and solution validation.
• Continuously learn and apply best practices in network automation, cloud networking, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Contribute to documentation, version control, and project tracking using Git, Confluence, and Jira.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Strong foundation in Linux and Python scripting.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and enterprise network environments.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a customer-facing environment with confidence.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow in network automation.
• Familiarity with version control, project management, and documentation tools (Git, Confluence, Jira).

Bonus Qualifications:

• Internship, co-op, or project experience in networking or automation.
• Knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, Jinja2 templating, or cloud networking platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Relevant coursework, certifications, or a passion for Infrastructure as Code.
