Plant Manager
– Metal Fabrication

Elkhart, IN

Compensation DOE: Up to $140K

We are seeking a driven and experienced Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of plant operation. The Plant Manager will be responsible for leading production, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives while fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, meeting customer demand, and driving business success.

What you will be doing as a Plant Manager :

• Lead and manage daily plant operations, including production, safety, quality, and delivery.
• Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve business goals and customer expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and foster a strong safety culture.
• Oversee workforce planning, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support product launches, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions to achieve operational targets.

What you will need as a Plant Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a Plant Manager or senior operations role preferably with metal fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and drive cultural and operational change.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Marine, automotive, or other assembly manufacturing experience preferred.
