The Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for* performing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on facilities and manufacturing equipment. This position will also assist other maintenance team members with duties that may be required. *

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is part of the *Maintenance department *located in *Pensacola, FL *and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

• *Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on various manufacturing equipment, utility machines, and R&D lab equipment *
• Conduct minor repairs to machine components while maintaining safety initiatives
• Assist other maintenance team members with assigned tasks in an effort to improve equipment efficiency and production runtime

Who you are:

• High school diploma with at least one year of maintenance experience
• Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and CMMS software
• Knowledge in HVAC, motors, gearboxes, bushings, bearings, chains, conveyors and other mechanical components.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 40lbs
• Ability to stand, squat, and reach for an extended period

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Ability to accurately document work performed in CMMS or other maintenance management system

You should be proficient in:

• Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans
• Preventive Maintenance & Inspection
• Electrical Troubleshooting
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
