Job Description
A competent Nurse in a similar clinical setting practices independently, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
- Demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects of each situation and makes appropriate assignments or delegations.
- Meets expectations in leadership competencies and adheres to nursing standards, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs; administers medications using appropriate protocols; monitors treatment effectiveness; and documents care thoroughly.
- Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients and their families.
- Requirements include a BSN preferred, 1 year of related experience preferred, RN license in the state or compact, BLS certification, and additional certifications such as ACLS and PALS within specified timeframes.
- New hires undergo orientation, precepting, and competency validation.
- Per diem position with flexible hours, adhering to credentialing timelines.
