GARNEY CONSTRUCTION

As Safety Manager in Rayville, LA at Garney Construction, you will be responsible for ensuring safety is the number one priority on our water and sewer pipeline projects.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Review, implement, and assist on safety regulations and standards to project management and field personnel.
• Conduct safety training for job site personnel.
• Conduct daily safety inspections to identify, document, and correct safety hazard.
• Conduct accident and incident investigations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction engineering, construction management, or a safety-related degree preferred.
• Willing to travel and or relocate.
• Must have or be able to obtain CHST within 6 months of employment.
• Must have STS-C
• Must have OSHA 30 Certification in Construction.
• OSHA 500 is preferred
• Bilingual- English/Spanish is preferred
