Job Description:
This position is centered on commercial security installations , including access control, CCTV/video surveillance , and supporting low-voltage systems .
Install, terminate, and verify access control equipment (controllers/panels, readers, locks, and door hardware)
Install and bring online CCTV / IP video surveillance systems
Run and terminate low-voltage cabling (CAT6, composite, and control wiring)
Mount cameras, readers, enclosures, and other field devices
Support system startup, testing, and troubleshooting during commissioning
Interpret drawings, plans, and scopes of work to execute installations correctly
Coordinate on-site with project managers, engineers, and other trades
Keep work areas neat and maintain accurate documentation
2+ years of experience in commercial security or low-voltage installation
Familiarity with access control, CCTV/IP cameras, cabling standards, and terminations
Able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
Detail-oriented with strong workmanship and professionalism
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Comfortable working on ladders/lifts and on active construction sites
