Sr. Software Engineer
Sr. Software Engineer for Chesterfield, MO to design, develop, deploy, test, troubleshoot, debug & support software systems and applications; gather & understand requirements; translate requirements into application features; develop application technical documentation; identify opportunities to develop new or improved solutions; provide guidance for technical design & architecture decisions; participate in shaping product development strategy; contribute to evaluation & selection of new technologies; work with team to coordinate project priorities & deadlines; mentor junior engineers. Requires Master’s in C.S., Computer Engineering or closely-related field & 3yrs experiencein IT-related position(s):developing multi-page web applications; performing Cloud-based continuous delivery environment management using AWS; designing & developing microservice architecture; developing large-scale distributed systems; ensuring software security; processing & analyzing large, complex data sets; designing Cloud-based software solutions using React, Node.JS, & Python, Java and/or JavaScript; supporting software product development, including research, design, programming and/or testing; using database management tools to store & retrieve data; and designing & developing application user interfaces. Will also accept Bachelor’s in said fields & 5 yrs progressive post-Bachelor’s stated experience. Telecommuting permitted from home office location within reasonable commuting distance of Chesterfield, MO up to 3 weeks per month.Salary Range: Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $141,000.00 to $155,000.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. The offered salary may vary within this range based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
