Job Description

**Position:** Forklift Operator - Full-Time Employment! **Forklift Type:** must have recent stand-up forklift experience! **Who Are We?** Our San Antonio, Texas distribution center charges, packages and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks. We opened in 1995, now employ more than 265 people, and operate six days per week. We are actively involved in our local community and give back through Toys for Tots, The Strong Foundation and Soldier's Angels. **Primary Duties:** + Operates and services power forklift trucks, uses hand trucks and other equipment. + Receives and unloads trucks of incoming material. + May count, weight and record. + Verifies and records counts of incoming and outgoing material on required systems and reports discrepancies to supervision. + Signs bills of lading on incoming material. Loads materials on trucks utilizing the OPS system. + Follows incoming inspection procedures manual regarding specific materials to select, examine, and record condition of samples. + Has knowledge of product and product specifications. + Responsible for initiating corrective action when substandard samples are found. + Ensures there is a current MSDS for supplies that require same. + Supplies production lines and others with necessary materials when required and moves miscellaneous scrap materials, etc... out of production area to warehouse or yard. + Keeps warehouse and yard storage orderly and clean and uses available space to the best advantage. **Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED preferred not required. + 1+ year(s) of Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment. + Must be able to perform basic math functions. + Must be able to pass a forklift operating test. + Must be comfortable working in a hot environment. + Comfortable with work overtime as needed along with potential working weekends. **What We Offer!** + Paid vacation and 13 paid holidays. + Annual bonus opportunity (up to 5% annual salary based on Plant's performance). + College tuition reimbursement. + 401k plan offered with company match. + Company contributions available for employee Health Savings Account. + Competitive health, dental, vision, life, home/auto purchase benefit options available. + Fitness reimbursement program. + Employee battery program. + Opportunity for growth and advancement. **Who we are:** Clarios is the force behind the world's most recognizable car battery brands, powering vehicles from leading automakers like Ford, General Motors, Toyota, Honda, and Nissan.
