Our busy restaurant is looking for a server with a friendly smile and a cheerful customer service attitude to set the tone for our guests to enjoy their dining experience with us. You will serve our guests in the restaurant by ensuring that they are seated promptly, their orders are taken and served timely manner, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests. Our ideal candidate maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor toward our guests and coworkers while providing exceptional customer service to our guests. • Accept correct payment from guests and guarantee the accuracy of the guest check and manner of payment to protect both the client and the business from any transaction mistakes
• Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
• Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests
• Actively engage in pre-shift and department meetings to get a thorough knowledge of all goods, services, and facility operations
• Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer client queries and provide recommendations

Qualifications:

• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
• Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
