Position Title: Compliance Officer
Location: Various locations in Florida (Orlando, Tampa, Doral, Fort Lauderdale, Tallahassee)

Role Overview:
The Compliance Officer will support a regulatory division by reviewing and analyzing complaints filed by constituents, interpreting Florida statutes, and providing guidance to complainants regarding jurisdictional matters. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work with the public in a professional office environment with business casual dress code.
Key Responsibilities:
Contact constituents and complainants to discuss details of filed complaints
Review and compare state statutes with complaint details to analyze issues
Advise complainants on the Division's jurisdiction and case closure reasoning
Provide appropriate resources and referrals to complainants
Prepare written correspondence to complainants for supervisor approval
Close cases by entering appropriate codes, activities, and statutes in Versa system
Document all actions in the OnBase system
Required Skills & Experience:
High school diploma
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the public
Ability to read and interpret Florida State Statutes (1 year experience)
3 years of experience working with the public in a professional work environment
1 year of experience working with the public and analyzing complaints
Exceptional organizational skills
Ability to speak and understand English
Preferred Skills:
Experience using Versa system
Experience using OnBase system
Additional Details:
Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No weekend work or overtime is required. This is a short-term assignment requiring commitment to the project timeline.
