Payroll Analyst

Position – Payroll Analyst

Job Location – Brookfield, WI/ Remote

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (7:00am – 3:00pm)

Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $22-$25 per hour

Required Education – Bachelor's Degree/Associate's Degree in Accounting preferred

Required Experience – At least 3-5 years of experience with Payroll

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly payroll audits and reconciliations, including new hires, terminations, and special earnings/deductions
• Manage payroll tax filings and respond to tax notices and set up new payroll tax accounts for additional entities or jurisdictions
• Support general ledger reconciliations and respond to accounting inquiries
• Conduct regular and ad-hoc reporting (e.g., missed punches, missing hours, 401k, referral bonuses, severance audits)
• Monitor and maintain transaction audit files across all pay groups, as well as handle multiple payrolls
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in Accounting, Payroll, or related field
• Must have 3-5 years of experience with Payroll and payroll systems, specifically ADP Vantage
• Must have excellent auditing and analytical skills, as well as a strong understanding of payroll tax regulations, reporting, and general ledger concepts
• Must have exceptional attention to detail, positive attitude, ability to work independently, and ability to multi-task
• Preferred familiarity with Workers’ Compensation reporting and wage reconciliations, along with experience participating in M&A payroll integrations
