Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Public Relations Associate to join our growing communications team. The ideal candidate will support media relations, develop engaging content, and assist with event coordination. This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of public relations strategies.
Responsibilities
Draft press releases, media alerts, and pitches tailored to various audiences
Assist in developing and maintaining media contact lists
Coordinate interviews, press briefings, and public appearances
Support client communications and help manage brand reputation
Conduct market research and media monitoring
Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and communication goals
Assist in planning and executing PR events and campaigns
Prepare performance reports and track media coverage
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
1–2 years of experience in a PR, communications, or similar role preferred
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of media relations practices and local/national media outlets
High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
