Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Source and recruit skilled trades, production operators, engineers, and plant management roles.
• Conduct thorough interviews to assess technical skills, safety consciousness, and cultural fit for a manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate closely with plant managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting and candidate sourcing to offer extension and pre-onboarding.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.
• Utilize various sourcing methods including job boards, social media, vocational schools, and local industry networks.
• Ensure compliance with all hiring regulations and company policies, including pre-employment screenings relevant to manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience recruiting for technical, operational, and professional roles within manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, roles, and industry-specific skill requirements (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, CAD/CAM).
• Proven ability to source, screen, and assess candidates using various recruitment tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in a second language relevant to the local manufacturing workforce (e.g., Spanish).
• Experience with employer branding or talent attraction campaigns.
• Familiarity with specific manufacturing industry sectors (e.g., aerospace, automotive, food processing).
