Rehab Tech – Anointed Hands Wellness

Location: New Lenox, IL

Schedule: Full-time

Reports to: Licensed Therapist / Clinic Manager

At Anointed Hands Wellness, we specialize in restoring movement, reducing pain, and helping clients recover and thrive through hands-on therapy and advanced wellness technology. Our approach blends compassionate care with innovative recovery services in a supportive, faith-centered environment.

Position Summary

The Rehab Tech supports both therapists and clients to ensure a smooth, healing, and efficient wellness experience. This role assists during therapy sessions, performs and sets clients up on recovery services, maintains clinic flow and organization, and provides administrative support such as scheduling and billing.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Treatment Support

  • Assist therapists during therapy and recovery sessions.
  • Set clients up on services such as PEMF, compression boots, vibration board, infrared therapy, BrainTap, cryotherapy gun, laser therapy, and assisted stretching (following clinic protocols).
  • Perform select recovery and wellness services as assigned.
  • Educate clients on how each service supports their recovery and wellness goals.
  • Guide clients through stretching or movement routines as directed by the therapist.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
  • Accurately document all services performed and client interactions in accordance with clinic protocols.

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Greet and check in clients, ensuring a warm, professional, and organized experience.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, coordinating multi-service visits, and processing billing and payments.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data entry is completed promptly and correctly.
  • Keep treatment and recovery areas clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
  • Sanitize all equipment and prepare rooms between sessions.
  • Support therapists and management with daily operations and communication.

Client Education & Engagement

  • Provide clear explanations about the benefits and proper use of wellness equipment and recovery services.
  • Educate clients on additional services or membership options that complement their care plan and goals.

Team & Growth

  • Participate in team meetings, ongoing education, and cross-training opportunities.
  • Maintain a teachable and willing-to-learn attitude when introduced to new technologies or procedures.
  • Contribute to a positive, compassionate, and collaborative team culture.
  • Show initiative in identifying ways to improve client experience and clinic flow.
  • Embrace opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or degree in kinesiology, health sciences, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a physical therapy, chiropractic, or wellness setting preferred.
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn clinic software for scheduling, billing, and documentation.
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and compassionate toward clients.
  • Comfortable performing physical tasks, assisting clients, and learning new equipment and modalities.
  • Able to stay calm, flexible, and supportive in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and assist clients for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs when handling equipment or supplies.
