The Role

As our Training & Growth Specialist you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and optimizing virtual training experiences that enable dental office teams to confidently present, enroll, and manage dental membership plans. This role focuses on equipping front office and clinical teams with the knowledge, scripts, systems, and confidence needed to successfully implement and grow membership programs.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring dental practices successfully understand, adopt, and realize value from our membership platform. This role bridges onboarding, training, and ongoing success, serving as a trusted partner to office managers, regional managers, and dentists.

You will be accountable for practice success post-onboarding, combining structured education with proactive, creative guidance to help practices grow membership, improve patient communication, and drive enrollment, particularly throughout a client’s first 90-days with Plan Forward.

Qualifications

  • Required: experience working in a dental office
  • Preferred experience: creating effective presentation decks
  • Preferred experience: Customer Success, Training, Implementation, or Enablement
  • Strong communication & relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable training both clinical and non-clinical audiences
  • Comfortable leading a group alone and fielding questions live
  • Creative, proactive mindset with a service-oriented approach to problem solving
  • Ability to balance structured processes with tailored, consultative support
  • Ability to pivot a presentation quickly or adapt a presentation depending on the client or circumstance

Key Responsibilities 1. Training

  • Create effective training materials tailored to client workflow needs
  • Lead live onboarding and training sessions for Office Managers, Regional Managers and Dentists (as needed)
  • Ensure all stakeholders understand:
  • How to use the platform effectively
  • The financial and operational value of the membership program
  • Best practices for presenting membership to patients
  • Tailor training to different roles and learning styles within the practice
  • Host re-trainings for offices and their team members if requested

2. Practice Success & Engagement

  • Conduct structured follow-up check-ins at 2-weeks, 30-, 60-, and 90-days
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for post-onboarding success
  • Identify early warning signs of low adoption or underperformance and intervene proactively
  • Answer customer calls as needed

3. Proactive Growth & Value Enablement

  • Go beyond reactive support by:
  • Coaching teams on how to present membership value and savings in a compelling, patient-friendly way
  • Offering scripts, positioning, and workflows that increase conversion and renewals
  • Sharing marketing strategies to grow membership enrollment
  • Bring creativity and new ideas to help practices maximize results
  • Continuously reinforce the “why” behind the membership program, not just the “how”

4. Accountability & Outcomes

  • Be accountable for:
  • Improving Time to Value (quick enrollment of members after launch)
  • Platform adoption
  • Practice confidence and competency
  • Early success of the membership program
  • Partner with internal teams (Support, Product, Sales) to surface insights and improve the customer experience
  • Document learnings, best practices, and common challenges to improve onboarding at scale

  • Office managers are positioned to successfully sell and renew memberships
  • Dentists understand the strategic and financial value of the program
  • Practices actively grow membership and see results within the first 90-days
